Vegetable oils refined by physical or chemical refining

The vegetable oils that we are refining fall into two categories – hard and soft.
Under “hard” we find the tropical oils :
Coconut oil, palmkernel oil-Palm oil

Hard category vegetable and lauric oils are derived from crushing the fruits. Coprah is extracted from coconuts, palm from oil palm trees and palm kernel from the kernel of the fruit. These products are destined for the following 3 sectors :

- Edible foods : bakery products, French fries, margarine, chocolate, baby milk,
icecream etc...
- Animal feed : milk replacers for calves, piglets etc... Also petfoods.
- Technical uses : cosmetics, soap, oleochemicals, lubricants etc...

In former times the raw materials would have originated mainly in Africa but nowadays they come from Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines and many of the islands of the South Pacific.

Soft oils are derived from the oil extraction of seeds of seasonal plants such as Soya, canola, sunflower, linseed, corn etc.
These seeds are coming from Europe as well as North America (Canada & USA) and South America (Argentina & Brazil).

These are destined for the following uses :

- Edible foods : mainly bottled oils but also mayonnaise, salad dressings, bakery products...
- Animal feeds in the form of crude, refined and hydrogenated oils
- Industrial applications such as paints, varnishes, inks, cutting oils and the manufacture of
biofuels

All our imports are made under strict analytical control and conform to French and EU sanitary regulations.
