EURO VEG OILS
Palm oil on the European vegetable oils market rose on Friday as India ramped up purchases after slashing its import tax for the commodity.
Asking prices for palm oil were between unchanged and $17.5 per tonne higher, underpinned by gains in CBOT soyoil futures. Malaysian palm oil futures closed between 35 and 112 ringgit per tonne up.
At 1700 GMT, CBOT soyoil futures were between 0.39 and 0.52 cents per pound up as continued dryness in South America threatened to stress the crop in Brazil and Argentina.
EU rapeoil was quoted between 10 euros per tonne lower  and 10 euros per tonne higher.
Lauric oils were between $5 to $30 a tonne higher on gains in palm oil.
PALM
Malaysian palm oil futures extended their losses on Monday, tracking weakness in rival edible oils on the Dalian Commodity Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
Palm prices are lower now because of external markets, » a Kuala Lumpur-based trader told Reuters.
Palm oil is affected by price movements in related oils as they compete for a share in the global vegetable oils market.
Cheaper rivals elsewhere means that palm oil is a less attractive option for foreign buyers.
The contract earlier fell over 1% due to a report saying that the Malaysian government had no plans to extend a tax exemption on the edible oil.
Bloomberg on Sunday that Malaysia had no current plans to extend the tax exemption on palm oil that’s set to end on Dec. 31, citing the country’s Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry.
SOYBEAN
Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures gained on Friday as concerns over crop stress in South America countered profit taking earlier in the week, traders said.
For the week, soybean futures gained 10-3/4 cents, the fourth consecutive week of gains for the oilseed.
Recent rains have brought relief to Argentina’s central farm belt, but the crop remains vulnerable to stress as dryness persists in parts of the country.
Traders have been liquidating positions ahead of first notice day for deliveries against December soymeal and soyoil futures contracts on Monday, Nov. 30.
U.S. soybean export sales last week fell to a marketing year low 768,100 tonnes, according to the USDA. Analysts had been expecting sales of 700,000 to 1.4 million tonnes.
FISH OIL
 PERU
Still no trades reported in both feed or food,- keeping in mind the pre-sold volumes of about 10.000 mt and continued low yields (with a total oil production below 15.000 mt so far), both sides prefer to go slow for the time being.
CHILE – Slow fishing/production continues both in the North and the South.
No active sellers.
